Democratic values put Logan County families first

From the Biden administration in Washington, to Gov. Pritzker (right) in Springfield, to our local officials — the Logan County Democratic Party is fighting for working families and supporting the candidates who join us in the fight.

Learn more about our leadership here.

In the meantime, Governor JB Pritzker and the Democrat-led General Assembly have improved Illinois’ fiscal health to the point that a backlog of $16.7 billion in unpaid bills has been eliminated and the State is now paying its bills on time! This is just one of many, many positive improvements made under current Democratic leadership in Springfield.

We believe:

  • that, out of many, we should strive to produce a more perfect union

  • that incomes of all Americans should be raised

  • that opportunities for affordable education should be expanded

  • that voters have a right to know who is contributing money to their candidates for office

  • that voting rights for all should be honored

  • that our natural resources should be protected

  • that climate change can and should be monitored and moderated through international cooperation

  • that effective diplomacy and a strong military can prevent wars

  • that a strong military and effective diplomacy prevent needless wars

  • that our veterans should be honored and our troops should be supported

  • that a woman's reproductive rights should never be abridged by the laws of her state or nation

Clean Up Lincoln Day

Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 8am

This day of giving back will begin at Latham Park in Lincoln for registration, along with coffee and donuts! From there, we’ll take a bus to Steak ‘n Shake on Woodlawn Road and walk back into town to pick up trash along the ditches and roads.

Be sure to bring gloves and wear something that’s very visible (yellow or orange would be great). Call Cary at 217-737-3359 if you have questions.
